Blueberry Acai Protein Smoothie

This is my favorite protein smoothie. It provides instant energy after a workout, and the hydrolyzed collagen protein helps to build and maintain healthy joints. If you don’t have Nuttzo Power Punch Nut Butter, use the organic nut (or sunflower) butter of your choice.

Ingredients:

3 frozen bananas
2 frozen Acai Smoothie Packs
2 Medjool Dates
1 heaping Tbsp Nuttzo Power Punch Nut Butter
6 Tbsp Hydrolyzed Grass-Fed Beef Collagen
2 cups ice
2 cups water

Directions:

Break the frozen bananas into two or three pieces and place them in a high-speed blender. Run cool water over the Acai Smoothie Packs until they are soft enough to break in half, then add them to the blender with the remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth and store the excess in the freezer in BPA free bags.

To enjoy the leftovers, leave the bag of frozen smoothie in room temperature water for 20 minutes, then squeeze the bag with your hand a few times and pour the contents into a glass.
